German team takes the lead

Jan-Lennard Struff and Tim Pütz led the DTB team in Oeiras 2-1 against host Portugal.The duo from Warstein and Frankfurt won against Joao Sousa/Gastao Elias after 3:37 hours 6:2,4:6,6:7 (5:7), 6:4,6:4:4.Boris Becker, the new “Head of Tennis”, was also present for the first time.
Struff can secure the victory against Joao Sousa on Sunday (from 12.00 pm) in the top singles against Joao Sousa.
For the final match, Cedrik-Marcel Stebe (Vaihingen/Enz) and Pedro Sousa are scheduled, but conversions are still possible at short notice.Stebe had won against Joao Sousa on Friday and Struff had lost to Pedro Sousa.
