Stefan Bradl experienced a race weekend in the Superbike World Championship to forget.
At the first run in Portimao/Portugal, the former Moto2 World Champion retired after a crash and was not allowed to start for the second one by the doctors.Bradl (27) contracted a wrist injury on Saturday.
“I will have an MRI examination of my wrist at home as soon as possible,”wrote the Honda pilot on Twitter.
Bradl ranks 14th in the world championship for close-to-production machines with 67 points.Place.Defending champion Jonathan Rea won both races in Portugal and now leads with 431 points clearly ahead of Tom Sykes (311/both Great Britain/Kawasaki).
