Singapore-GP: Rain chaos looms on the horizon
The weather could play a decisive role in the Singapore Grand Prix.A few hours before the start it rains heavily.
The Singapore Grand Prix is expected to be a rain race (starting at 2 pm in the LIVETICKER).
A few hours before the start, it pours out of buckets in Singapore. This would be a novelty.Since 2008, the Singapore GP has been included in the Formula 1 racing calendar, despite tropical climate with almost daily rainfall, the race has so far always been dry.
On Sunday, however, the weather could have a big influence on the outcome of the race.In addition, there are humid temperatures around 26 degrees Celsius.
“It’s a strange thing,”said Daniel Ricciardo,”we come from what is perhaps the most physically easy stretch in Monza to the most demanding in Singapore and Malaysia.”
Sebastian Vettel is starting from pole position, whereas Lewis Hamilton is fifth.
