Nowitzki:”Two more years” until the end of his career?
Before his 20.NBA season, Dirk Nowitzki does not want to set a date for his career end.We don’t have to finish this year.
Dirk Nowitzki is facing his 20th birthday.NBA season with the Dallas Mavericks.
Many of his former companions have long since abandoned the basketball shoes, but the 39-year-old is still fully committed to serving his heart team.
But for how long he will wear the Mavericks jersey as a player, Nowitzki once again left Nowitzki open in an interview with the local media Dalla’s Morning News:”If I miss another 30,40 games in a row, it obviously shouldn’t be.
On the other hand, however, the most successful European in NBA history could imagine a continuation of his unique career beyond the end of the season:”If I remain reasonably healthy, if I move properly and have some good games, then maybe I’ll be on it for another two years. We’ll see how it goes.”
The decision depends entirely on his health:”I don’t expect problems, but with 39, I think everything is possible.”
Even after 20 years in the NBA, the fire is still burning in Nowitzki:”It was a long summer, far too long.I’ve been working my ass off to get back in shape.I’ve made progress and I’m looking forward to the camp and the new boys.”
Should Nowitzki actually still be 21.He would set the record for most of the years in Robert Parish’s, Kevin Willis’ and Kevin Garnett’s NBA.
