Ash and Mortara inherit victory at Sachsenring
After the disqualification of two teams, the Mercedes AMG drivers claim the victory in the 2nd round.Race at the Sachsenring.The result promises excitement in the title fight.
The Mercedes-AMG drivers Sebastian Asch and Edoardo Mortara (BWT Mücke Motorsport) were subsequently awarded victory in the Sunday race of the ADAC GT Masters at the Sachsenring.
Asch and DTM star Mortara had seen the chequered flag last Sunday as third.

Following the technical follow-up check, however, the two first-ranked vehicles of the Mercedes-AMG Team ZAKSPEED were disqualified because the vehicles did not comply with the GT3 homologation.
Zakspeed has meanwhile withdrawn the announced appeal against the disqualification, so that the exclusion of the competition is now definite.
Second behind Asch and Mortara are Patrick Assenheimer and Maximilian Götz (Mercedes-AMG Team HTP Motorsport).Third place goes to the Audi duo Jeffrey Schmidt and Christopher Haase (Montaplast by Land-Motorsport).
The new race result makes the title fight of the “League of Super Sports Cars” at the season finale on the coming weekend at the Hockenheimring even more exciting.
Corvette driver and leader of the standings, Jules Gounon, who now has 131 points in his lead over rivals Philipp Eng in the BMW, now has a lead of only 15 points.
Asch climbs to third place in the standings with 104 points.The Audi drivers Kelvin van der Linde (Aust Motorsport, 101 points) and the duo Connor De Phillippi and Christopher Mies (Montaplast by Land-Motorsport, 98 points) also still have a chance to win the title.
A total of 50 points will be awarded in Hockenheim.
