Seamless 49ers against rams under pressure
The San Francisco 49ers open their third matchday of the NFL season against Los Angeles Rams, waiting not only for their first win but also for the first touchdown.
To kick off the third week of the NFL season, the San Francisco 49ers will receive the Los Angeles Rams and the California duel in the NFC West will take place on Thursday night from Thursday to Friday (from 2.25 at the Livescores).
The 49ers are hoping for their first win of the season and their first touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals (3:23) and two defeats at the Seattle Seahawks (9:12).
At least the statistics give the hosts hope: The 49ers won the last three matches against the Rams.
However, the rams go into the game with a wider chest. At the start of the season they swept the Indianapolis Colts with 46:9 from the field.
Last week was a 20-27 home defeat against Washington Redskins, but the Rams have already had seven touchdowns – the New England Patriots scored the same number as current NFL champions.
After two home games, the Rams will have to go away for the first time in the new season, but will remain in the same state: only 565 kilometres between the Rams and 49ers’ stadiums.
