Horror-Check: League blocks Bears-Profi
Linebacker Danny Trevathan of the Chicago Bears has been suspended for his check against Packers Wide Reciever Davante Adams.
On Thursday, the Bears pro hit the Wide Reciever head-on with a massive hit.As a result, Adams went unconscious and came to the hospital with suspicion of a head and neck injury.
The league blocked Trevathan for two games, unbecause he referred to Rule 12, Paragraph 2, Article 6:”There should be no unnecessary hardship.This also includes using the helmet or face mask to unnecessarily injure an opponent.”
ESPN reports that the Bears pro wants to appeal against the ban.
