LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers must continue to wait for his next record entry into the NBA’s history books.
The 33-year-old lost to the Oklahoma City of Thunder in a crashing 124:148 home defeat by the Oklahoma City of Thunder with only 18 points and missed the mark of 30,000 career counters for the time being.
James is missing seven points to become the youngest member of the “Club of the 30,000s”, which so far has six players. The next chance to do so is on Tuesday at Cleveland’s guest performance at the San Antonio Spurs.

The three top stars of the Thunder were particularly convincing. Top scorer was Paul George with 36 points, Carmelo Anthony came to 29 points and Westbrook “only” to 23 points. But he also distributed 20 assists and grabbed nine rebounds.
The “Top Three” was supported by Steven Adams, who contributed 25 points and ten rebounds to the blowout victory.

Point Guard Isaiah Thomas was the top scorer with 24 points in the defensively disastrous Cavs. Power Forward Jae Crowder scored 17 points.
Cleveland remains in third place at the Eastern Conference, but has only one win ahead of Miami Heat. The victorious Thunder remain fifth in the Western Conference (Overview of all NBA tables)
