Shock for the MHP giant Ludwigsburg. For international Johannes Thiemann, the season has ended prematurely due to injury.
National player Johannes Thiemann from the national league team MHP Giant Ludwigsburg has finished the season prematurely.
According to the baroque townspeople, the 23-year-old suffered a rupture of the biceps tendon in the right thigh during training and will fail for several months.
Thiemann was in the summer of 2016 from the second division team (Pro A) 1. FC Baunach moved to Ludwigsburg.
In Swabia, the Power Forward developed into an international player in its first year. After winning the European Championship in Israel and Turkey in the summer of 2017, Thiemann was one of the best German players in the Bundesliga with an average of 11.9 points and 4.8 rebounds in the season to date.
With his strong performance, he made a major contribution to the Ludwigsburg high-flying race, which currently took the MHP giants to third place.
Due to the severe violation of their best points collector, however, the Ludwigsburg team’s ambitions have now been given a severe damper.
