West Bromwich fires leadership duo
The Premier League runner-up responds to the sporting crisis with a personal turn-around. The leadership duo must leave.
West Bromwich Albion, the first division club in England, parted ways with its chairman John Williams and managing director Martin Goodmann on Tuesday. Chinese club owner Lai Guochuan apparently took the initiative after the Premier League runner-up lost 3-0 to Chelsea on Monday evening.
West Brom is five points behind the penultimate league leader. The new Managing Director is Martin Jenkins.
The club has been playing in the Premier League for eight years, but has only scored 20 points this season after 27 games. On the 20th. November 2017 team manager Tony Pulis was dismissed and replaced by Alan Pardew. However, he could only win one of 13 games with his team.
