The NBA has responded to the scandal surrounding the Dallas Mavericks and will set up a hotline for victims of abuse. Ligaboss Adam Silver told the 30 teams in a letter. Those affected will be able to report anonymously from next week.
In the magazine Sports Illustrated, current and former employees of Mavericks described the club’s working atmosphere as poisoned.
I was disgusted when I read the article – just like everyone else,”said Mavs superstar Dirk Nowitzki.
Dallas threw out a member of his media department in response to the report. The reporter had hit women twice.
