The Jazz had won 21 of their last 23 games and were also close to winning against the Hawks. However, the last five litters failed, so that the currently eighth-placed Western Conference player had to admit defeat.
The Hawks remain last in the Eastern Conference, despite Schröder’s brilliant performance.
“Dennis was special on the defensive tonight,” said head coach Mike Budenholzer, “He played great and did everything today. He also took care of Donovan Mitchell in the last three or four minutes of the game.”
In Jazz, Mitchell (24 points) and Ricky Rubio (23 points) were the best throwers.
