Dimitriev returns to Iserlohn
Striker Alexei Dimitriev returns to the Iserlohn Roosters. The German-Belarusian striker started his career with the Roosters.
Striker Alexei Dimitriew returns to the Iserlohn Roosters from the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) eleven years after his departure. The 32-year-old will move from the Düsseldorf EC to Lake Seilersee next season and has signed a two-year contract.
“Alexei is a valuable team player with particular individual strengths. That’s why we decided to take him to the Seilersee,” said Roosters manager Karsten Mende.
The DEL career of Dimitriew, a native of Belarus, began at the Roosters in the 2005/06 season. Later Dimitriew played for the Cologne Sharks and the Berlin Polar Bears, among others.
