Football dwarf Gibraltar caused a small sensation by winning a test match against Latvia.
With the 1-0 (0-0) the national team of coach Jeff Wood celebrated not only the second success of their football history, but also the first triumph in the domestic Victoria Stadium.
The golden goalscorer was Liam Walker, who scored in the 89th minute. I was the one who made that decision in the first minute.
Gibraltar won their first official test match against Malta (1-0) in Portugal in June 2014. The team had played its matches in Faro in the first few years since the European Football Union (UEFA) joined in 2013.
