Nowitzki disappointed in Mavs’ home bankruptcy

The German NBA stars show disappointing performances in the night to Sunday. For both Dirk Nowitzki and Paul Zipser it is the next bankruptcy.

Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks have suffered their fifth consecutive defeat in the NBA. The 39-year-old superstar had a weak evening against Charlotte Hornets at 98:102.

The man from Würzburg converted only two of his nine throws and scored only four points (ten rebounds). At -12, it had the worst plus/minus balance of all players. National player Maximilian Kleber was without points for the Mavs, whose top scorer was Dennis Smith jr. (21 points).

Dallas (22 wins, 51 losses) has no chance of taking part in the playoffs. The same applies to the Chicago Bulls, who, after 95-117 at the Detroit Pistons, had 24 wins and 49 losses, a slightly better record. On the Bulls’ side, Paul Zipser had no success in 16 minutes (one rebound, two assists).

On Saturday, international Dennis Schröder had missed a surprise with the Atlanta Hawks at 94:106 at Champion Golden State Warriors. Schröder contributed 16 points, last Wednesday he had set a career record with 41 points.

The Hawks, with 21 victories the worst team of the Eastern Conference, are also out of the playoff race.
