Guardiola threatened with expulsion due to injury
Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola is thinking about expelling his captain. The reason for this is a violation of the Belgian player from the World Cup qualifying round against Gibraltar. Vincent Kompany has drawn on the displeasure of his coach Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, not because of the Spaniard’s performance in the Citizens’ jersey, but because of his performance in the Belgian national team’s international match against Gibraltar in the FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Gibraltar. The 46-year-old is so angry as the Mirror reports that he is seriously questioning the future of the centre-back with the four-time English champion, Guardiola is particularly angry that his defensive course hadn’t listened to his body’s signals, despite his long medical record. Kompany had only come to eleven Premier League appearances in the pre-season due to numerous injuries. The 31-year-old was only 14 times on the lawn in 2015/16, but Guardiola did not make any improvements during the summer break, as the city captain was about to return to his top form after a trouble-free preparation. The renewed loss of the former Hamburgers hurts the title favourites even more.
