On Wednesday Borussia Dortmund will compete at the Tottenham Hotspur. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could have been on the Spurs’ side – and yet another world star. Next Wednesday Borussia Dortmund will be competing at the Tottenham Hotspur (starting at 8.45 pm in the LIVETICKER) at the start of the Champions League. The hopes for three points are based on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but the Gabonese could have been on the other side of the line – a few years ago, the striker could have switched to the spurs, but coach Andre Villas-Boas Aubameyang did not want to, as Spain insider Graham Hunt revealed at ESPN. Etienne before, also Real-Star Isco (Malaga) was an issue, and Aubameyang was even flown to London to meet with the Portuguese star coach, reports Hunt, but Villas-Boas is said to have rejected the two current world stars on the grounds that they were not interesting enough for him. A year later, Aubameyang moved to BVB for just 13 million euros, and Isco beat Real, which is worth many times the amount of money they were talking about in 2012. Villas-Boas refused the bargains, however – a devastating decision.
