That’s why the TSG fan reached for the toothbrush
A supporter of TSG Hoffenheim becomes famous all of a sudden because he dedicates himself to dental care in the stadium. Turns out he had a good reason for it. Sven Schwanicke, confessing fan of Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim, caused a sensation with his grip on the toothbrush in the stadium, who had brushed his teeth shortly before the start of Hoffenheim’s playoff backlash against FC Liverpool (2:4) at the time-honoured Anfield Road and had been photographed. The picture was soon followed by a lot of amusement on the Internet. Even TSG coach Julian Nageslmann spoke at a press conference two days later of a “curious, funny action” General amusement was of course not Schwanicke’s intention. He had a good reason for dental care, while all around him there were fan chants,”Well, you’re on the bus all day. At some point you’ll have a disgusting taste in your mouth from English beer. Nagelsmann, asked whether his club should donate German beer for trips abroad in the future, was reserved:”I’m not a beer connoisseur, don’t drink that very seldom. That’s why I don’t know my way around so well, they have to ask others,”but at least another riddle from the unfathomably wide world of football has been solved.
