Spain’s league boss Tebas doubts whether the transfer madness can be stopped and makes clear to the sheik clubs. The Mbappe-Deal is a “cheap trick” of Spain’s league president Javier Tebas is “skeptical”as to whether the European Football Union (UEFA) will be able to contain the current transfer madness again:”Every year more and more money comes in and nothing happens”, said Tebas at the Football Summit of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. The million-dollar receipts from Paris St. Germain and Manchester City are nothing more than “financial doping”, the two clubs had once again invested enormous amounts of money in the last transfer period. The French top club signed the Brazilian Neymar for 222 million euros from FC Barcelona, saying:”It’s a domino effect,” said Tebas:”We are convinced that this will destabilize and destroy European football,” PSG (Qatar) and City (Abu Dhabi) belong to government-related investors from the Middle East. Europe’s umbrella organisation, the Financial Fair Play, actually prescribes that clubs must not spend significantly more than they are allowed to earn.
