Rossi gives lightning comeback after three weeks

Valentino Rossi returns to the world championship three weeks after his shin and fibula fracture.
The Italian MotoGP superstar, following a three-day test in Misano, decided to compete at the Grand Prix of Aragónia/Spain this weekend.This was announced by the Yamaha factory team on Wednesday.
“Fortunately, the test went well.After that I was in pain, but the medical check-up was positive and I decided to drive this weekend,”said the nine-time World Champion.Rossi had checked his fitness since Monday at the World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.
However, the race doctors still have to give the green light for participation in the race weekend:”If I get permission, I will know more after the first free practice session.It’s going to be a bigger challenge to drive my M1,”says Rossi.The superstar used a Yamaha superbike for the test.
The 38-year-old was born on 31 December.August in motocross training and hours later he underwent surgery in Ancona on the right lower leg.With the lightning comeback “Doctor” Rossi has only missed one race and can continue to hope for his tenth World Championship title.
With 157 points Rossi is fourth in the top class after 13 of 18 races.Spanish defending champion Marc Márquez (Honda) and his Italian compatriot Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati) are in the lead with 199 points each.
