In a suit: NFL boss almost as fast as Brady
Commissioner Roger Goodell turns his 40-yard sprint in the office into an Internet sensation. The 59-year-old only barely missed Tom Brady’s 2000 time in his suit.
The NFL Combine has been on everyone’s lips ever since the fantastic performance of the one-handed talented Shaquem Griffin.
Inspired by Griffin, even Commissioner Roger Goodell can’t hold back on that, he puts down a furious 40-yard sprint at the NFL headquarters in New York – one of the disciplines rookies do in front of the teams in front of the NFL draft.
The 59-year-old is 5.41 seconds in a suit, a strong time. In comparison, superstar Tom Brady needed 5.28 seconds for his Combine 2000 at the age of 22.
Goodell’s employees were equally enthusiastic, and the video immediately became a hit on the Internet and social networks.
However, Goodell did not come close to Griffin’s top time (4.38 seconds) or last year’s record from receiver John Ross (4.22) by a long way.
