Ice hockey goalkeeper Philipp Grubauer was also unable to prevent Washington Capitals’ 4-0 defeat at Anaheim Ducks.
The 26-year-old replaced the unlucky Braden Holtby, who scored three goals from the first nine shots on goal.
With eight parades Grubauer kept the defeat within limits. Washington with the exceptional Russian Alexander Ovetschkin remains fourth-best team in the East.
