Fans attack Italian second-league players
Two footballers from an Italian second-league club are attacked by ten disguised men near their homes. The club will file a complaint.
Two footballers from Ascoli Calcio, Italy’s second-league club, were attacked by ten disguised men wearing their club’s scarfs on Sunday night.
Midfielder Samuele Parlati and goalkeeper Vincenzo Venditti returned to Ascoli after a 1-0 defeat in the away game in Venice when they were attacked near their homes in the city centre, Italian media reported.
The two were slapped in the face and severely insulted. The attackers insulted the team, which is the taillight of the B-series.
Ascoli then filed a complaint against Unknown.
