OKC superstar Russell Westbrook delivers another gala against the San Antonio Spurs and MVP calls echo through the arena. But they apply to a team mate.
NBA superstar Russell Westbrook led Oklahoma City Thunder to victory over San Antonio Spurs.
The front-runner has already finished 19th in his 104-94 win over the Texans. Triple double this season and the 98th. Twenty-one points, twelve rebounds and ten assists made Westbrook’s appearance at the end of the game.
On the Spurs side, Rudy Gay and Davis Bertans were the top scorers with 14 points each.

At the end of the match, MVP calls resounded through Chesapeake Energy Arena, but they were not for Westbrook, but audience favourite Nick Collison.

The 37-year-old had to step in after the injury to Thunder-Center Steven Adams and delivered seven points in just under three minutes in the fourth quarter.
“He works hard and is always ready to play. It’s a blessing to play with him. He is so selfless,”enthused superstar Westbrook of Routine Collison.
The Thunders are in fifth place at the Western Conference, while the Spurs, who lost eight of their last ten games, are in seventh place and have to tremble for tickets to the playoffs.
