Carragher apologizes for spit attack
Jamie Carragher spits on a 14-year-old girl after Liverpool lost to Manchester United. Now he apologizes for his behavior.
Longtime Liverpool professional Jamie Carragher (40) has apologized for spitting on a 14-year-old girl. The former defender admitted that he was “completely out of control” when he spat at the girl out of the driving car.
British media showed a video of the incident after 2-1 in the English Premier Football League between Manchester United and FC Liverpool on Saturday as TV expert Carragher drives down the window of his car and spits on a car driving next to him.
According to various reports, Carragher also met the girl in the passenger seat. As you can hear on the video, the English national player had been provoked by the driver of the car with the words “unhappy Jamie, boy, 2:1!
Carragher apologized to the entire family after the incident. He had accompanied the match as a TV expert for the British broadcaster Sky Sports. In 2005, he won the Champions League with the Reds.
