Naples coach Sarri criticised for sexism
SSC Naples coach Maurizio Sarri has offended a TV reporter. Now there is criticism due to the sexist utterances.
Coach Maurizio Sarri of the Italian top football club SSC Naples is criticized for sexist statements against a TV reporter. During the press conference after the 0-0 at Inter Milan on Sunday, Sarri had answered a journalist’s question:”You’re a woman and pretty, so I’m not going to answer you to piss off.”
The video aroused outrage on the Internet, Sarri apologized. The journalists’ union called his statement “unacceptable”. It expresses “disregard for the media and women”.
It’s not the first time Sarri’s got his hands in a jar. He once described his trainer colleague Roberto Mancini as a “faggot”. He had to pay a fine of 20,000 euros.
