Mbappe shoots PSG with double pack to victory
Paris Saint-Germain wins Ligue 1 in a relegation contest. Kylian Mbappe is in the mood for goal. Julian Draxler and Kevin Trapp play from the beginning.
The Paris Saint-Germain star ensemble continues to set course for the French championship in Ligue 1.
With the German international players Kevin Trapp and Julian Draxler in the starting eleventh, the sovereign leader of the standings defeated the SCO Angers with 2:1 (2:0) and extended the lead to champions AS Monaco to 17 points (DATA CENTER: The table).
Supertalent Kylian Mbappe (12th/25th) was the early and deserved leader of the hosts with his double pack in the first half. Draxler, who was standing on the court for 76 minutes, had prepared Mbappe’s lead goal brilliantly.
The red card from Thiago Motta (16th) for a rough challenge did not detract from the flow of the French capital’s team, who continued to miss out on injured superstar Neymar. Cameroonian international Karl Toko Ekambi (75th) scored the goal for Angers.
On Friday evening, Monaco will be able to follow up OSC Lille against the penultimate and reduce the gap on PSG to 14 points.
