For Daniel Theis the season is over prematurely. The Boston Celtics professional is operated on after his knee injury.
German international Daniel Theis of NBA record champion Boston Celtics has undergone successful surgery following a torn meniscus in his left knee. The Celtics assume that the 25-year-old will be fit again by the start of preparations for the next season.
“Now it’s time to make the #ComebackStronger mission (come back stronger, d. Red.) to start. As always, I will work with all my heart to make it”, wrote the former Bamberger Theis after the operation on Twitter. The procedure was performed at Boston’s New England Baptist Hospital.
Theis had suffered the injury last Sunday against Indiana Pacers (97:99) at home. The first NBA season is over for the center.
