In the Rockets victory against the Clippers, LA coach Doc Rivers weathered against the referees. Ben Simmons overtakes Magic Johnson in his rookie season.
The Houston Rockets have expanded their winning streak. They won 101:96 against the Los Angeles Clippers, consolidating their lead in the Western Conference.
Clippers Coach Doc Rivers was angry about the referee’s performance after the game: “Our boys moved into the zone and were fouled the whole game. Lou Williams and Austin Rivers were hit over and over again and no whistle sounded,” he scolded after the match (NBA table).
“All these years I’ve never complained. But our players were playing with their hearts in their hands. But when the others get so much more free throws than us and we are the attacking team, it just doesn’t make sense to me,” he said after the game: “It was a complete joke.”
The Rockets were awarded 23 free throws. The Clippers only eight.
Once again, Rockets star James Harden was the best pitcher with 24 points and seven assists.
