Revenge successful: Howard dismantles Schröder’s Hawks
Dennis Schröder has to accept the next defeat with the Atlanta Hawks. Dwight Howard is in top form against his ex-team.
National player Dennis Schröder and his Atlanta Hawks have gone bankrupt in the NBA.
At the bottom of the Eastern Conference, Charlotte Hornets lost 117-129 and have been waiting to win for five games.
Schröder scored 17 points in 27 minutes, one rebound and eight assists, but only hit seven of his 18 attempts out of the field.
Meanwhile, Dwight Howard returned the favor of being traded directly to Charlotte by the Hawks after a moderate season and almost single-handedly defeated the Hawks with 33 points, twelve rebounds, two steals and two blocks.
But with the Frenchman Nicolas Batum, who even managed a triple double with ten points, ten rebounds and 16 assists, the center had great support.
At the top in the east, the Toronto Raptors (51:17 victories) continue to circle lonely. The Canadians defeated the Indiana Pacers 106:99 and celebrated their tenth consecutive success.
