Wild cabin party after mega comeback
Nevada manage a victory at March Madness that was no longer considered possible. The wild cabin party follows. First and foremost: Coach Eric Musselman.
Nevada has in the 2. Round one of the biggest comebacks at March Madness (LIVE on TV on SPORT1 US). The Wolf Pack defeated the Cincinnati Bearcats 75:73 after 22 points behind. Afterwards, the players broke all the levees and there was a humid party in the cabin.
Right in the middle of it Eric Musselman: Nevada’s head coach first jumped onto a table in the press stand to celebrate with his own fans. Then he tore his shirt off his upper body and threw himself into the celebrating crowd in the players cabin (All results of March Madness).
“Coach trains every morning. That’s why he takes his shirt off more often,” joked Forward Caleb Martin. His coach himself could not hold back the joy: “I have never seen anything like this in my life. That’s the luckiest thing I’ve ever seen. I’ve never been so happy in my life. I couldn’t be prouder of my team.”
And his team deserved the wild party. In the second half, Wolf Pack was 22 points behind. But after that Cincinnati did almost nothing, the Bearcats were nine seconds behind for the first time and could not answer any more (college basketball at DAZN. Save your free trial month now)
