JP Kraemer team ready for the GT Masters
TV and YouTube star JP Kraemer supports Team Ring Police in the 2018 GT Masters: Lucas Luhr and Jan-Erik Slooten start in a Porsche 911 GT3 R
Ring Police is ready for the GT Masters. Three days before the official pre-season test at Oschersleben, the racing team presented the striking design for its Porsche 911 GT3 R, with which Lucas Luhr and Jan-Erik Slooten will compete for the first time in the German GT3 series. All 14 races of the GT-Master 2018 will also be broadcast live and in full length by Sport1.
The “Elfer” from the Erkelenz racing team will cause a sensation on the seven race tracks of the GT-Master with its black and white stickers, which are complemented by colourful accents. The project was initiated by Slooten, who shares the car with the former FIA GT1 World Champion, ALMS Champion and two-time winner of the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring Lucas Luhr, and TV and YouTube star JP Kraemer – both great motorsport enthusiasts.
They decided to join forces and bring in their teams and skills. As Managing Director of Team Ring Police, Slooten provides his crew and motorsport experience, while media professional Kraemer, as Managing Director of JP Performance, provides access to the fan base and sponsors with his reach. The aim is to combine professionalism, closeness and fun in motorsport. The motto of Ring Police’s debut season at the GT Masters is “Make Motorschpocht great again”.
Ring Police will make its first public appearance next week at the official pre-season test of the GT-Masters in Oschersleben. I am looking forward to the great challenge of the GT Masters and to next week’s test days at Oschersleben,” says Slooten, “where we will meet this year’s competitors for the first time. It’s great to see many old friends there again and to get to know the other teams and drivers. It will definitely be very special days for me.”
Monday and Tuesday (26. and 27. March) the 23 teams of the GT-Masters are preparing for the season opener in the Magdeburger Börde, which will take place from 13th to 15th March. April at the same place.
