Superstar James Harden and Clint Capela have led the Houston Rockets to a new franchise record. 59 wins in a season represent a new record for the leader of the Western Conference standings.

The Rockets celebrated that at 114:91 (64:37) against the New Orlenas Pelicans. MVP candidate Harden was best scorer with 27 points. Capela contributed 18 counters and 16 rebounds.
Despite the impressive record, Houston’s coach reacted soberly: “You don’t care,” Mike D’Antoni said of the players: “I’m already happy. I think it was good. But she doesn’t care about that at all.”
Pelicans star Anthony Davis, who also plays a strong season, could not prevent the defeat of his team. The Power Forward scored 25 points and added eight rebounds and four blocks.
The Rockets now have 59 victories and 14 defeats after 73 games. New Orleans is also on a play-off course in the West, finishing sixth 43-31. It was the Rockets’ eighth consecutive victory.
