Brazilian receives curious punishment after Brutalo-Foul
Brazilian Rildo is given a curious penalty after a brutal foul in Rio de Janeiro. It wasn’t the 29-year-old’s first brutal foul.
Brazilian professional footballer Rildo was banned from the regional sports court (TJD) in Rio de Janeiro for at least the time his opponent Joao Paulo needs to return to training after a fracture of the tibia and fibula in his right leg after a brutalo foul on Monday.
The maximum spell against the Vasco da Gama striker, however, is 180 days. An appeal may still be lodged against the judgment.
Rildo had on 18. After only two minutes in the city derby against Botafogo FR, Joao Paulo overhardly stopped his attempt to clarify the matter with his leg stretched out at the level of the middle circle.
However, the Vasco player was only given a yellow card by the referee on the pitch. Impressed by the shocking TV pictures, the TJD Rildo also saw two “dropouts” in the past as repeat offenders and therefore set an example.
