National player Dennis Schröder threatens new trouble with the judiciary. According to ESPN, the Atlanta Hawks Guard from the NBA may have to defend himself in court against allegations of grievous bodily harm.
The Attorney General’s Office of DeKalb County in the US state of Georgia accuses the man from Braunschweig and other parties involved in the crime of serious bodily injury after an incident in a bar.
According to the authorities, Schröder and his companions were arrested on 29 March. September 2017 injured their victim “deliberately and seriously”.
A medical examination revealed that the man had suffered a cruciate ligament and meniscus tear as a result of the dispute.
According to the police report, a surveillance camera filmed Schröder and three other people who were initially in a heated dispute with the man at a shisha bar last year.

According to the report, the fights started with Schröder, who allegedly pushed the victim, after which Schröder and his companions beat and kicked the man.
The policemen called in separated Schröder and the other perpetrators from the victim and arrested the German.
The Atlanta Hawks have so far refused to comment on the new developments in the Schröder case and have not commented on the imminent indictment of their star.
