Porsche driver Antonio Felix da Costa has been stripped of his victory in the first Misano E-Prix, which took place at the permanent Italian circuit. Da Costa, who was facing pressure within the Porsche team, managed to secure a win by expertly conserving energy and climbing from 13th place on the grid to first, finishing just four tenths ahead of Oliver Rowland. However, it was later discovered that a throttle damper spring on his Porsche did not comply with the regulations. Porsche argued that the part had not been changed since the start of the 2022-23 season, but it was determined that the part was no longer eligible under the new ruleset. As a result, da Costa’s disqualification means that the Nissan team and Rowland are awarded the victory, marking their first Formula E win since 2020.
