Charles Leclerc expressed his frustration over a technical issue that prevented him from setting a time during Sprint Qualifying at the Austrian Grand Prix. Despite making it to the final segment, Leclerc was unable to participate in the one-lap showdown due to the problem, which caused him to run out of time. He pulled his Ferrari car to a stop and was left stranded as the clock continued to tick. Although he eventually got the car going again, it was too late for him to reach the chequered flag and he finished in 10th place. Leclerc admitted that he was unsure of what exactly went wrong and was eager to discuss it with his team. Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz, on the other hand, was satisfied with his performance but acknowledged that the team struggled to extract maximum pace from the Soft tires during the qualifying session. Despite this setback, Sainz remained optimistic about his chances in the Sprint race and hoped to make progress up the grid.
