David Moyes is clearly a man whose time in charge is running out. The manager of West Ham has not seen his team win a single game this year, and any excuses he makes to the media after matches are just delaying the inevitable. The Hammers have gone from competing in Europe to being stuck in mid-table, and their once-brilliant football has been replaced by consistent defeats. This is a far cry from the style of play that West Ham is known for, and it undoubtedly frustrates their loyal fans. In the past, as long as the team played well, the supporters would stand behind them even in defeat. However, the current team seems unwilling to put up a fight at all. While the players are not abandoning the team or refusing to play, they are lacking the motivation and leadership needed to turn things around. They are simply following the manager’s instructions, and unfortunately, Moyes is not getting it right. According to The Guardian, technical director Tim Steidten is in favor of firing the manager.
