Sergio Perez of Mexico, driving for Red Bull Racing RB20, participated in Formula 1 Testing on February 22, 2024, at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir.
The 2024 Formula 1 season’s first race, which is typically held on Sundays, is deviating from tradition. This is due to the start of the holy month of Ramadan on Sunday, March 10. As a result, the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, the second round of the season, will be held on Saturday, March 9. This change in schedule also affects the Bahrain Grand Prix.
As a result, the Bahrain International Circuit will kick off the event with Free Practice 1 on Thursday at 14:30 local time (11:30 GMT). Free Practice 2 will follow at 18:00 local time (15:00 GMT) on the same day.
Friday will be Qualifying day, with Free Practice 3 starting at 15:30 local time (12:30 GMT) and Qualifying taking place at 19:00 local time (16:00 GMT).
Finally, the Grand Prix will take place on Saturday, starting at 18:00 local time (15:00 GMT).
Viewers in the UK and Ireland can watch the live coverage of all the action, with highlights available later in the day on free-to-air channels.
To watch the races live, tune in to Sky Sports F1, which will broadcast every session along with pre- and post-session shows. Additionally, Channel 4 will provide highlights of the qualifying and race sessions.
For live streaming, Sky Sports subscribers can use the Sky Go app, which requires an internet connection. Alternatively, coverage can be accessed through NOW TV.
