Formula 1 has unveiled its 2025 season schedule ahead of schedule, with some significant changes. The Australian Grand Prix will return to its traditional opening slot for the first time since 2019, kicking off the season on March 16. It will be followed by the Chinese Grand Prix in a double-header at Shanghai. The Bahrain/Saudi Arabian GP pairing, which has typically opened recent seasons, will now take place later in the year due to Ramadan and will be part of a triple-header with Japan. The European season will start with a triple-header featuring races in Imola, Monaco, and Barcelona. Belgium and Hungary have also switched places in the calendar, with the Hungaroring now preceding the summer break instead of Spa. Singapore will now take place two weeks after the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, closing up the September into October gap. Brazil will no longer be part of the Americas triple-header, as it has been moved to a later date following the back-to-back races in Austin and Mexico. The season will conclude with a triple-header, with races in Las Vegas, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi. The final race is set to take place on December 7 in Abu Dhabi. Specific details regarding sprints and pre-season testing have yet to be confirmed.
