During the NASCAR Truck Series race at COTA, Andretti’s Trucks Axle suffered a major incident. The Roper Racing team lost their rear axle during the race, but fortunately, no penalties were imposed due to the unusual circumstances surrounding the wheel loss.
In a recent episode of his podcast Action Detrimental, Joe Gibbs Racing driver expressed his shock and disbelief regarding what happened to Marco Andretti. He described how the entire truck was disassembled from the rear, leading to the incident.
Additionally, Hamlin commended NASCAR for their decision not to penalize Marco, considering the shocking and dangerous nature of the incident. Although Andretti came out of the incident unharmed, Roper Racing will undoubtedly take measures to prevent a recurrence.
Following the alarming incident where Marco Andretti lost his entire rear axle and wheels during the NASCAR Truck Series race at COTA, discussions about potential penalties arose. However, NASCAR announced after the race that no penalties would be imposed on the number 4.
