A.J. McKee is eager to put his boxing skills to the test against arguably the top boxer in the PFL.
On February 24th, McKee (21-1) will step into the cage to face Clay Collard in the first event since PFL acquired Bellator in the latter part of last year. McKee not only aims to defeat Collard but also wants to outshine him in the striking aspect.
“We are already aware of Clay Collard’s weaknesses, which lie in wrestling and jiu-jitsu. However, I see this as an opportunity to display my boxing skills,” McKee shared. Following a lackluster unanimous decision win over Sidney Outlaw in November, McKee views Collard as the ideal opponent to redeem himself.
“Clay Collard is a formidable fighter. He will come in swinging,” McKee stated. “I wasn’t satisfied with my previous performance. I spent 12 out of the 15 minutes on my back. This fight allows me to unleash my punches.
“I know he will stand in front of me and attempt to push forward. It will be an exhilarating fight, and I am eagerly anticipating it. As I mentioned, it is the fight that the fans crave, and I am determined to deliver three rounds of relentless action.”
