Alpine has announced that it will showcase a vibrant pink livery at eight selected events throughout the 2024 Formula 1 season.
The Anglo-French automaker unveiled its A524 model with a captivating design that combines a carbon base with elements featuring the iconic Alpine blue and BWT pink hues.
This distinctive color scheme will be utilized for a total of 16 races, but will undergo a captivating transformation to prominently display the pink shade on the remaining eight occasions, as the record-breaking 24-race calendar unfolds.
BWT, a long-standing sponsor of the Silverstone-based team formerly known as Aston Martin, has been associated with the brand since 2017, adorning both the Force India and Racing Point cars with their signature pink branding.
As the team transitioned into Aston Martin in 2021, BWT maintained its partnership, incorporating pink accents into the team’s green-liveried AMR21.
When Otmar Szafnauer joined Alpine at the beginning of 2022, BWT followed suit, ensuring that the iconic pink shade continued to complement the brand’s traditional blue identity.
Alpine showcased an exclusive pink design during the first two rounds of competition, a tradition that carried on throughout the opening three races of the previous season at their Enstone headquarters.
Despite Szafnauer’s departure from his position midway through last season, BWT remains a prominent title partner for Alpine, and their involvement has expanded even further for the upcoming 2024 season.
