Andretti Global has unveiled a trio of revamped liveries for the upcoming 2024 NTT IndyCar Series season. Each livery follows a consistent theme, yet showcases a distinct primary color along the side of the cockpit and up to the rollhoop. Colton Herta’s #26 car features a recognizable yellow shade, representing his major sponsor Gainbridge. Kyle Kirkwood’s #27 machine stands out with a vibrant pink hue, associated with AutoNation. Marcus Ericsson, a new addition to the team, will sport dark blue and sea green as his primary colors on the #28 car.
Andretti has maintained a consistent visual identity across their cars, allowing for easy identification among their drivers. This year, the color accents are primarily concentrated on the front half of the car, while the engine covers and rear wing endplates are predominantly black. The new design retains the iconic chrome nose cone, a feature that has been present since 2009, linking the team to Mario Andretti’s chrome helmet design from his racing days. The section behind the chrome area and up to the cockpit is now white on all three cars, with the car numbers clearly visible in this colorless section.
The Andretti redesign joins other teams, such as Arrow McLaren and Chip Ganassi Racing, who have also embraced new liveries with the help of talented graphic designers. Fans can look forward to an array of new colors on display during the opening round in St. Petersburg in two weeks’ time, as they cheer on their favorite drivers.
