Max Verstappen was the fastest driver in the last practice session before the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, according to the latest reports. The session saw a surge of activity towards the end, but was briefly halted following an incident involving Zhou Guanyu’s Sauber. Verstappen, the reigning World Champion, set a lap time of 1:28.412s, with Charles Leclerc from Ferrari finishing just under two-tenths of a second behind. Oliver Bearman, substituting for the unwell Carlos Sainz in the other Ferrari, impressed by securing the 10th position, with a time less than a second slower than Verstappen’s. Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton struggled and ended up in ninth place, trailing his teammate George Russell by three-tenths of a second, who finished in fourth.
