LAS VEGAS – Jung Gyeong Lee emerged victorious over Blake Bilder in a unanimous decision on Saturday at UFC Fight Night 235 held at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Outcome: Jung Gyeong Lee defeats Blake Bilder by unanimous decision (30-27 30-27, 30-27)
Updated records: Lee (11-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC), Bilder (8-2-1 MMA, 1-2 UFC)
Key statistics: Lee successfully defended against all three of Bilder’s takedown attempts and executed two takedowns of his own. He also outperformed Bilder in total strikes landed, more than doubling his opponent’s count.

“He displayed a level of durability beyond my expectations, and I am grateful for the challenging fight he gave me,” said Jeong Yeong Lee after defeating Blake Bilder.
Jeong Yeong Lee reflects on his performance, stating, “It was only about 50 percent of what I had envisioned, so I will put in the hard work to improve for the next time. My wrestling, striking, and grappling did not meet my standards.”
“This year, my objective is to secure three consecutive victories. The identity of my opponents does not matter as long as they are capable of engaging in an intense battle with me. I am just getting started. I aspire to compete on grand stages and demonstrate the toughness and skill of an Asian fighter,” Lee added.
