Kevin Harvick shares his opinion on the Iowa Cup race. Denny Hamlin and Kevin Harvick (Via IMAGO) The NASCAR Cup garage is currently at Iowa Speedway for the inaugural premier stock racing event on a 0.8-mile track. Fans and drivers have long been advocating for a top-tier race at this track, and NASCAR has finally given the approval for this season. Prior to the weekend, the 2014 Cup Series champion has made his race predictions. The former SHR driver is placing his bets on the three-time Daytona 500 winner to emerge victorious at the track. If Kevin Harvick’s prediction proves to be correct, it would be the fourth win of the year for the veteran driver from Joe Gibbs Racing and could potentially put him back in the lead position in the championship standings. Denny Hamlin is aiming for redemption this weekend in Iowa after his top-five streak came to an end last Sunday at Sonoma. His engine failed only two laps into the race at Sonoma, resulting in him being credited with the last position. This cost him the top spot in the points table, as the race winner took over the lead for the regular season championship battle. The former RCR driver also has another experienced driver in mind who has a good chance of winning. He pointed out that the two-time Cup champion has historically performed well at tracks with new modifications. He also emphasized that the No.22 Ford team is currently in good form. The Fox broadcaster is anticipating a veteran driver to secure a victory at the track, and it will be interesting to see if his predictions come true. Both of his choices are strong contenders, and they are both highly motivated to win for different reasons. In case you missed it:
