The SF-24 will be piloted by Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, with the latter embarking on his final season with the Scuderia, as he will make room for Lewis Hamilton in 2024.
After concluding the previous season on a positive note in 2023, being the sole non-Red Bull team to secure a victory – Sainz in Singapore – Ferrari aims to launch a consistent assault in an attempt to challenge Red Bull in the upcoming season.
The SF-24 marks the inaugural Ferrari F1 vehicle to be developed under the guidance of Frederic Vasseur, the team principal who assumed control from Mattia Binotto early in 2023, and is now entering his second season at the helm in Maranello.
Following a defeat to Mercedes, Ferrari finished third in the Constructors’ Championship for the 2023 F1 season.
Since their last Constructors’ Crown triumph in 2008, the most successful team in F1 has been relentlessly pursuing elusive F1 Title glory. The team’s final Drivers’ Title was clinched by Kimi Raikkonen in 2007.
Kyle, a former Mercedes F1 aerodynamicist, has been producing captivating videos that delve into each F1 launch season, offering expert analysis and initial technical insights into the new machines.
Kyle expressed, “This year’s F1 car launches have displayed slightly less diversity compared to previous years, but there is still much to discuss regarding the SF-24!”
