Now, Red Bull’s reserve driver has provided insights into how Max Verstappen is able to outperform his rivals, including his teammate, by significant margins. He highlighted Verstappen’s comfort with the Red Bull challenger, which has been optimized according to the 2022 regulations. The reserve driver also emphasized Verstappen’s confidence in the car, which contributes to his exceptional performances.
Verstappen has already secured two consecutive victories this season, starting with the Bahrain Grand Prix and followed by the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. The extent of Verstappen’s dominance was evident in Bahrain, where his teammate Sergio Perez, who finished in second place, trailed behind him by a staggering 20 seconds.
Speculations about Max Verstappen potentially joining Mercedes have been circulating for some time now. These rumors gained traction when a controversy surrounding Mercedes arose.
