The current situation in Milton Keynes has raised doubts about Verstappen’s long-term future with the reigning champions. Despite being under contract until 2028, there is speculation that Verstappen could join Mercedes if circumstances remain the same. However, Wolff shared his perspective on this matter during a recent media interaction.
When asked about the possibility of Verstappen joining the Silver Arrows, Wolff stated:
The Austrian seemed confident that Verstappen would not be leaving Red Bull anytime soon. He explained that it is natural for any driver to want to be in the fastest car, and currently, Mercedes is not the fastest on the Formula 1 grid.
